CourseThese modules deal with the detailed procedures and precautions to be taken when receiving and ministering to international guests and/or diplomats. The world now is a global village and no country can afford to live aloof/in isolation. With this comes the responsibility of these our protocol officers to learn quickly about the cultures, beliefs and practices of these our international guests and/or business partners as we cannot do without them so we need those who take the lead in uniting us with them and enabling that smooth bonding that will make us truly global and one big global family, where genuine business thrives for the benefit of all our peoples.
There are a lot of practical for this type of module and participants will be helped to do the seating of guests at tables, serve meals and drinks, practice MC (Master of Ceremony) roles (role-playing method of instruction) and how to coordinate business meetings from breakfast meetings, to conferences, ministerial visits, Presidential State visits and inaugurations; how to handle the related planning, procurement and coordination processes etc.
Different Ministries of our Central Governments in Africa are now creating this role among its officers, not only in the Police and Army as in the past, but also some HROs (Human Resources Officers) in other non-uniformed forces.
